Wedding

I was awoken bright and early that morning by a television blaring - grrr. Woke up, hung out, packed up my things so I would be ready to check out later, and headed out to have my makeup done. I LOVED the woman who did my makeup! She was so so so nice and great at what she did! Pictures to come. After that, I made phone contact with people to make sure everyone was doing OK, and headed to the hair salon. Ryan's groomsmaids - Jessi and Chelsie were there which was great because I hadn't seen them forever! We chatted and then it came time for them to go. My wedding planner Kim King Smith came and sat with me while I had my hair done, she even went and got us Jimmy John's for lunch! After this, I headed over to the Convention Center, checked out of our hotel room, and moved everything to our changing room because Ryan and I's room for that night was not ready to be checked into. I ate - because I was starving! And enjoyed hanging out with my girls.

Before I knew it, it was time to put on my dress and head to campus to start pictures - we did all of them before the ceremony except the ones with family. I headed into the jankest limo ever, and off we went! It was super hot, but our photographers were AMAZING! I cannot say enough about how great Deckard Photography is! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone - a super laid back husband and wife team! They listened to us when we told them we were getting hot and took us into their car or into a building! Our wedding party met us later for pictures, then we headed back to the Convention Center to get ready to get married!

I couldn't believe how fast everything was happening! So my girls and I did some Cupid Shuffle! Before I knew it, it was time to walk down the aisle, then we were married! We wrote our own vows and Ryan's were funny and sweet! I have no idea how it happened, but I started to cry during mine! So I just took a 2 minute pause with a few giggles to finish! Some super quick pictures afterwards and it was time to eat and party! Our menu consisted of fruit, breakfast breads and pastries, eggs, french toast, sausage, potatoes, then chicken and green beans for the traditionalists! We had a 15 second fake first dance then our real first dance was the Cupid Shuffle!

We so enjoyed hanging out with all of our friends at the reception! Many of them we don't get to see much! Our cake was absolutely amazing! Yellow cake with chocolate buttercream frosting - Yum! We toasted with milk :)

A couple of shots of us in our photo booth!

We danced until I could barely walk on my feet anymore, then Ryan and I were exhausted. Which really stunk because we wanted to go out to the bars afterwards! We went to check into our room and the guy who checked us in was the night manager and recognized me from the night before - when I couldn't sleep and told him I was getting married. So...he gave us a suite :) Free! SUITE! It was sooo nice, but we were bummed because we only got to enjoy it for a few hours!
